IT Proof Cooking: Peanut Butter & Choc-Chip Biscuits

  • Time: 25 Minutes (12-15 Minutes in oven
  • Cleaning: Small (1-2 Bowls, a baking trays)
  • Complexity: Simple
  • Special Equipment: None
  • Difficulties: Don’t make them two big. Mine turned out more like a slice. Also note, I found out that the sides of my oven are much hotter than the middle, so keep the cookies away from the edge if you want to keep them fairly even, otherwise you get a nice spread of hard and soft cookies, which isn’t a bad thing.

Now that I had built up my confidence with the Banana Bread, it was time to explore the world of cooking. I friend of mine, Jack Scott, was nice enough to share his Peanut Butter & Choc-Chip Biscuits recipe a few days ago. It was perfect timing to test out my newly acquired skill of following instructions. Walk down to the supermarket to pickup some peanut butter and I was ready. This recipe is great because it only requires one bowl (two if you count the one you use to crack the egg open, or you acn use a mug), and makes very little mess. The recipe is very easy to follow and the cookies turn out great.

Easy Mac

Easy Mac is a nice treat every now and then, but I do see a very annoying marketing problem. How am I supposed to measure exactly 2/3 cups of cold water, and more importantly, why do we use shitty fractions like 2/3 all the time, 34/100 would be so much easier to measure.
